Tag! You’re It!
Okay, I’ll admit when I first read that I was tagged, I didn’t really know what that meant, but SP at Southern Byways tagged me for a meme, and so I figured I would tag some of the newer members of b5, and of course, those I like to read.
Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to write their own blog with their 7 things as well as these rules. You need to tag 7 others and list their names on your blog. Remember to leave a comment for them letting them know they have been tagged and to read your blog.
1. I’m trilingual, (English, French, and Spanish) but I understand quite a bit of Portuguese and Italian. I started to learn Japanese as well, but I didn’t have the time to continue.
2. I’ve traveled to over 60 countries and lived in 7.
3. I was 1-degree of seperation from the former French president Chirac, and I am 1-degree of seperation from the new French president Sarkozy.
4. I stay at the home of a famous singer whenever I’m in a certain country because he’s married to a good friend of mine. (I don’t mention his name because his groupies would not be too pleased!)
5. One day I opened my window and who did I see looking at me? None other than Pope John-Paul II. A few years later, I opened my window shutters again and who’s smiling at me this time? No, not the Pope, but the Dalai Lama instead! It sounds amazing, but it’s true!
6. I have a 4 star French chef who cooks for me every evening.
7. I am an artist, musician, and a poet, but I was also a professional astrologer for many years.
Now I’m tagging:

[...] okay, I just got tagged twice in a day; from Lynn (who blog at The Paris traveler) and Dexie, Ms. She knows Best. My task is to state 7 random facts/habits of about me; well, I [...]
Wow, what an exciting life you have! 60 countries…I have been to 28 and I thought that was a lot, then again, 28 at 28 years old isn’t bad.
Paris was the first European city I visited at 19, so it was the beginning of my opening up to the world.
Not sure about this tagging thing but wanted to drop you a reply.
Sorry Rangga, but as the saying goes, at least you got to “kill two birds with one stone”!
Hey Alex, I’d say you’re off to a good start! I arrived in Paris when I was 19 as well and it was love at first sight, so I decided to stay!
Oh yeah, when you’re tagged, you have to write 7 random facts or habits about yourself, and then ask 7 other bloggers to do the same! That’s it!
Tagging is such a good way to ’surprise’ your readers! And the mere mention of your personal French chef just makes me hungry.
Perhaps you have this other interesting traveler? http://www.tipsofallsorts.com/around-the-world/travel/the-dancing-traveler/
Clara, thanks so much for sharing the video with me! I loved it! Everyone should go to your site to see it! Great dance by the way!
My personal French chef just happens to also be my significant other! I tell him all the time that I don’t mind cooking dinner (I think I’m pretty good in the kitchen as well), but now that he’s retired as a 4 star chef, he says he enjoys it and it relaxes him. So, who am I to spoil his pleasure! Okay, and mine! Believe me, it’s a feast most evenings!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Having read (from your write-up on Bercy Village)that your signifcant other prepares gourmet meals for you, I can only say you’re truly blessed!
I’m am! I prefer seeing it your way! (My family says I’m spoiled!)
