Galen, if you click on the link above, there are a number of classes that various cooking schools are offering. I don't give classes; I leave the cooking to my significant other, who just happens to be a French chef! He sold his 4 star French restaurant, but maybe he should start thinking about giving cooking classes!

We will be arriving in Paris on March 31 and departing April 14. Our intent is to learn what we can about food. Do you have any short courses we can participate in?

Alan, whatever school you went to that gave you the opportunity to take a cooking holiday in France,.... well I'm sure many people would have loved to have gone to that school!

The school I went to when I was a child - we would have been thrilled to have taken a trip to the local bakery down the street just to get out of class, but I don't ever recall even doing that!

As a child I had a wonderful experience when I was given the opportunity to go on a cooking holiday in France with school. We visited a local cheese farm and a boulangerie where we made croissant. I'd love to return as an adult and try something a little more sophisticated!

This is interesting. I'm sorry I didn't know this when I've been to Paris. Maybe next time I'll take some cooking classes, even if it is just to compare what I already know with what French cooks do.
