Guerlain Paris

Guerlain Champs-Elysées Paris(After writing about World Cup Rugby for the guys, I thought I would do a post for the ladies this time!)

Okay, so that beautiful tan you worked on all summer is slowly starting to fade now that the summer holidays are over, and you don’t want to go to a tanning salon. What to do? Well not everyone can be as fortunate as I am to be naturally blessed with a healthy glowing tan!  (LOL!  Don’t forget, I did write in another post that I am somewhat dillusional!)  All kidding aside, it’s hard to keep up that “healthy look” but I will tell you a little secret how some of my friends and I do maintain a summer glow all year round!

Guerlain Terracotta Moisturizing Bronzing PowderI’m talking about Guerlain’s Terracotta Moisturizing Bronzing Powder Long Lasting.  The first time I bought this bronzing make-up was over twenty years ago and it really is timeless.   I honestly would not be without it!  It’s just too bad that this isn’t a paid post that I’m doing!  I would love to have a freebie!  (Maybe I should sent this article to Guerlain, but for some reason I don’t think that would change anything.)  From my understanding, they sell this particular product, one every 30 seconds somewhere in the world!  So, I guess they don’t need my plug!  I do have one complaint however, why is it that the compact always breaks before you finish it?!!!

Guerlain Champs-ElyséesAnyway, it’s a must have for all women irregardless of your skin tone and besides, I love their shop on the Champs-Elysées and the people working there are really helpful!  If you’re not in Paris, you can find Guerlain at many of the large department stores in most countries.  The prices will vary but count on spending around 35 €!  Not really that expensive when you figure that it’ll last for at least a year or two. Besides, what price do you put on having a healthy summer glow?!

My mother took me to buy my first Terracotta compact in the late 1980s. I’ve been a devoted fan ever since. Of course, over the years, I’ve tried others, but in the end, I always return. What a nice story, thanks.

I’ve tried others as well, but like you I’ve always come back. I’m curious though does your compact always break apart before you finish yours? Friends and I constantly have this problem.

Lynn, I think the link to the Terracotta page should be:
