Two New Places to Travel – Sydney & Atlanta

“The Karakorams” Northern PakistanWho doesn’t love to go to new and exciting places?! I know I do! It doesn’t matter that I’ve traveled to literally hundreds of cities around the world, in over 60 countries and on 4 continents; I’m still ready to pack my bags on a whim! I must admit, however, that I’ve never been to Sydney or Atlanta, so…. I’m excited to see that our Travel & Culture Channel here at b5 media is growing and has added on two new destinations for our readers!

I want to welcome Lauren from the Sydney Traveler. I’ve never been to Australia, but I have friends who just love it there!

Sydney Harbour BridgeLauren tells us about climbing to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge! For those who hate heights, this may not be for you, but I would love to climb that bridge! Check it out at Have the Climb of Your Life.

Sydney Opera HouseAnother post she writes about is the famous Sydney Opera House that is so well known and beautiful, and a dream of mine to visit.

Minus 5 BarHowever, the Coolest Bar Around: Minus 5 may be the hot spot in Sydney, but like I told Lauren, having a drink in a place that’s -5° well, it just isn’t my cup of tequila!!! Be sure to read her other great articles all about the Down Under!

Another warm welcome goes out to Chloe at The Atlanta Traveler. The only time I was in Atlanta was when I was changing planes at the airport, does that count? (Not in my book!)

120 degrees! Now the only thing I know about Atlanta is that CNN is there and the weather is hot! How hot is it? Well according to Chloe, very hot! You can read about it in Hot, Hot, Hotlanta!

Mei LinAnother interesting thing is Mei Lin is there! I just love that little baby panda who turned one year old recently. There’s a great photo of her, as well, in Baby Panda Turns 1.

Hot Air BalloonsSo, from Cooking Demos that look interesting, to a Hot Air Balloon Festival, which I also love, there are plenty of things going on in Atlanta as well.

Welcome!Welcome aboard to both of you!

Atlanta has a great Asian area on Buford Highway with excellent Malaysian food and Korean supermarkets. Well worth a visit!
