Time To Say Good-bye
My decision to stop blogging at The Paris Traveler was not an easy one to say the least. Throughout the months that I’ve been blogging here I have gained a faithful readership that I am so grateful for, and I want to thank everyone who has made TPT a part of their day, but as most of you who write blogs know, it takes up a good part of your time.
I thought I would be able to juggle everything, but there are just so many hours in a day and I had to put a number of my things on the back burner while I blogged. Some of the projects I need to devote my time to are: doing the art work for a book I want to publish, translating/adapting a series of poems I wrote from English into French, and starting on a novel that I want to write that has constantly been on my mind for a number of months.
The Paris Traveler will be on hiatus for a short time, but I hope that many of you will continue to visit and leave comments. (I know I will!) If anyone feels that they would like to perhaps take over this blog and work for b5media, you can e-mail Mary Jo to find out the details. They’re a great group of bloggers to work for!
More than just calling Paris “home”, even when I’ve spent a number of years living in other countries, I have carried on a “love affair” with this wonderful and exciting city for close to 37 years! I’m sure that whoever takes over TPT will be someone who adores Paris as much as I do! It truly is the most beautiful city in the world!

Take care Lynn! You’ll be missed here because you did such an Excellent job with The Paris Traveler! But best of luck with all of your projects and I know we’ll still “see” you around!
Thanks Alex, I will definitely be reading and commenting on everybody’s blogs from time to time!
Oh Lynn, I am so sad that you are leaving. You will be dearly missed. But I understand. I am a married mother of 3, a university professor, writer, and photographer. I know how hard it is to fit too much into too little time. Still I’m feeling selfish. Your blog was one of the bright spots in may daily routine. I wish you success in all your endeavors and happiness always.
[...] Incredible photos at Paris Traveler. [...]
Thank you Temple, you are one of those supermoms that I wonder how you manage to find time to do everything and I appreciated greatly all the comments that you left!
I will miss you definitely! But I’m glad I can still ’see’ you around in blogland.
I wish you the very best in all your projects and have loads of fun too!
Lynn, Clara mentioned that you’ll be around in “blogland”. Where can I find your blog?
Thanks Clara, all your comments meant a great deal to me. It let me know more often than not that someone was out there reading what I wrote!
Temple, I suppose Clara meant when I go to leave comments on her blog (Tips of All Sorts – it’s on the blogroll here at TPT) and other blogs.
I do hope to go back to my old blog which has been on hiatus since I began TPT, however, that won’t be until after the New Year. (I’ll e-mail you if and when I do!)
I just don’t have the time right now with all I want to do and the holidays coming upon us very quickly, but thanks so much for asking!
Best wishs Lynn.
Thanks Jon!
Thank you for all your great work on this lovely blog. Best of luck in the future.
Thank you Michelle, I appreciate your kind words!
