Paris Writers Workshop

undefined

For all you aspiring writers or those of you who have been thinking about taking your work to the next level, here’s a little something that might get you to pack your bags and run away for a few days this summer!

The 20th annual Paris Writers Workshop, sponsered by WICE, a non-profit volunteer organization committed to bringing together the English speaking community in Paris, is once again holding a series of seminars for those of you passionate about writing and would like to refine your skills in a small group setting, under the tutulege of published authors and literary agents looking for new talent.  One of my favorite authors, Nuala  O’Faolain is participating this year, which would so be worth the price of admission!  John Baxter, author of numerous books and owner of a vast reservoir of information on Paris, will be  conducting literary walking tours available to participants.  If you have read anything he has done, you know that is bound to be incredibly entertaining.  The beautiful PWW website provides you with everything and more that you would need to know to take part in this great event.

In addition to actually attending the workshops, WICE is looking for a few good people to act as interns to help market the event.  Having college age daughters, I know how important this type of experience can be.  If you are a student/ individual currently living in Paris and think this might be of interest to you,  do not waste a single moment, head on over to the WICE offices and sign up!

Thanks so much! It is good to know that some of the information I pass along might inspire readers to actually get over there if they have never been.
I’ll do my best to keep bringing you good stuff. Say hi to Grant for me.
