L’Hôtel de Ville de Paris, one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, would be considered the equivalent of a “town hall” in North America. I don’t know about you, but the one I go to in my town is circa 1960’s cinder-block: metal folding chairs, fading linoleum, a few vending machines. Nothing like this Cinderella’s castle. This photo is magic but in real life it will take your breath away.

Do you sometimes get into a rut and have nothing to say? Or you think that whatever you’re planning on saying just isn’t important enough to write? Today is one of those days! I’ve started several posts and stopped after a few sentences, not feeling the subject like I usually do.
Okay, so what to do? Well, I decided to just let you feast your eyes on some more great images by Ann Forcier and Rita Crane until I’m over it,… but it was bound to happen after 136 posts!

There’s only a few days left to see the Good Planet photo exhibit by Yann Arthus-Bertrand and a large number of other photographers specializing in animal photography. The exhibit takes place right outside the Musée du Quai Branly and deals with the impact that animals have on man and our planet.
There are 92 photographs by 39 photographers who have captured incredible moments of animals and insects in their natural habitat. The expo is free, open 24/7 and text written in both French and English. It’s a great place to relax, browse, and enjoy!

Should I admit that age is creeping up on me, or do I just say that with my busy schedule, I can no longer remember every little detail of things that happen in my life? I’ll take the latter! In any case, I really couldn’t tell you how I came upon photographs by Ann Forcier, but I’m delighted that I did!

And I don’t mean Paris Hilton! Just about everyone who goes to Paris goes up to the top of the Eiffel Tower for its spectacular view.
Well this is my list of other great places that you should definitely go to the top of for a fantastic view. (These are in no particular order; they’re all great for one reason or another!)
