Chaud Show
As I mentioned in one of my other blogs, I have a number of good friends, mostly artists and entertainers, from the years I’ve lived in the Cour Saint-Pierre. Odri is one of those friends. I’ve known her since she was a young teenager who would come to my apartment after school and talk to me about her first crushes. One day she told me about a guy she met named Didier. “I’ll just go out with him once or twice, because he’s not my type” she confided in me, “and then that’ll be it.”
Well Odri and Didier are still together and they’re now in their forties! Didier works in film and television, while Odri started her own school and theater company more than a decade ago! Throughout the years, they have collaborated on a number of projects together and this year is one of them. Odri and Didier not only wrote this “whodunit” musical comedy, but Odri also directs it, while Didier does the light and sound.
The play is called Chaud Show (Hot Show) which will have an afternoon and an evening performance by their troop on June 27, 28, and 29. Believe me, it’s always a fun filled time and tickets are only 10 €! You can get all the information you need at their website.
