Final Days of Tango Seducción

There are only a few days left (until Sunday October 7) to see some of the best tango dancers that Argentina has to offer! World renown Gustavo Russo, is the director, choreographer, and first dancer of Tango Seducción, along with Samantha Garcia, and Alejandra Canepa, the singer, and the rest of the cast who give a spectacular performance in a cabaret setting of fiery, passionate, yet oh so sensual dance!

The show includes a humorous history of tango, plus the tango classics such as ‘El Choclo” (A favorite of mine since I was a kid!) and, of course, the part of seduction that is so famous in the dance. The small orchestra is the orquesta tipica, or the typical tango orchestra, comprised of piano, bass, drums, cello and violin, but more importantly the bandoneón, similar to the concertina or accordian, which is the essence of tango music. And speaking of music, the emphasis is on the music of Astor Piazzolla, one of my all time favorites!

So, if you love tango and the seduction of this dance between partners with the grace and flow of their bodies in slow motion one moment, and then the quick energetic frenzy of emotion in their steps the next, then now’s the time to take advantage of these final days! It’s not just a feast for the eyes and ears, but a glimpse into the soul of a nation!
