Last Days of Summer Fun
There are still a few days left to enjoy the long days of summer. If you love music be sure to drop on by the courtyard of the Hôtel d’Albret to listen to some great music. The concerts are put on by city hall and Radio France Musique; last day is the 31st of August. Concert time begins at 18h to 20h and best of all it’s free! Métro: Saint-Paul.
If you’re into skate boarding and roller skating like me, (yeah right!) then PariSlide at Pelouse de Reuilly in the 12e is still going strong until the 2nd of September. They’re open from 13h30-19h30 M-F and from 10h-13h and 14h30-19h Sat. and Sun. You can check out how well others perform, but don’t worry this is open to all levels of skill and best of all it’s free! Métro: Porte Dorée.
Festival Sous La Plage is giving their last festival for the summer Sunday the 2nd of September at the park André Citroën in the 15th arrond. Music, expos, and much more, starting at 14h until 22h and yes, best of all it’s free! Métro: Balard.
September 1 & 2, Parc Astérix will still be open for their long summertime hours from 9h30 until 19h. Afterwards the park will be closed more often than it will be open. Sorry I can’t say that this too is free, but there are a few promotional tickets still available. Check out their website for more details. Buses to the park are available in front of the Louvre.
Euro Disney also has a few special offers as well. The park does keep its same hours and schedules well into Autumn, and no this too is not free, but check out their site for more info on what offers are available.
