Mon 1er Festival Cinéma Pour Enfants
Mon 1er Festival Cinéma Pour Enfants is a film festival for children between the ages of 3-15 years of age which takes place from the 24th to the 30th of October. This is the third year that a number of theaters in Paris will be showing films with kids in mind. From animated films to super-heros, and from sneak preview films to classics, there is truly something for everyone!
There’s even an Audrey Hepburn tribute that I’m excited about! (I love Audrey Hepburn! Not only as an actress, but also for the humanitarian she was! I even have a photograph of her, my little niece Katarina, who I adore, and myself in my walk-in closet; which goes to show!) Anyway, back to Audrey, (lol) four of her films will be featured during the festival for a whole new generation of movie goers: Roman Holiday , Sabrina, Robin and Marian, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Other activities for the children will also take place at different times and different locations. Musicians and actors, as well as professional makeup artists will be on hand for make-up and body painting. Monoprix will supply snacks for the kids, and teachers and schools can participate by bringing their classes to see a film. For dates, times, and places, you can visit their website.
