Paris Casting Call
Are you looking to get into films, being a dancer or an extra in videos, or some other such venture in Paris? Then Paris Casting is a place you need to keep your eye on. There’s a whole list of people being sought after by film, TV, entertainment, and casting directors.
What follows is a small example of some of the people they are looking for:
- Female singer (European) sings pop, R&B, and soul, nice physique, at least 5′6″ to form a group.
- Looking for a boxer type, strong, black, tall, to play Mohammed Ali in the film “Seuls 2″ which begins shooting in Paris in Sept.
- Young man 18-25, to play a hoodlum type as an extra. One day only, in the film “Ma fille a 14 ans” with Daniel Auteuil. (Great actor; my input, not theirs!) Filming in October.
- Short action film: looking for a young actor/stuntman between 18-40 who know martial arts/combat techniques.
- Experienced theater actor around 50 yrs. old, between 5′8″ - 5′10″ for a new theater production.
- Actress over 60 yrs. old, two days Sept/Oct for a short film. Send photo and CV.
- Looking for a young woman between 25-32 as a co-host for an entertainment TV show. Must speak French, 5′8″ minimum. Send recent photos.
There are tons more announcements like these, so go ahead and take that first step in being discovered or just for the fun of it. I’ve done a few jobs like this myself; sometimes it was easy, sometimes it was hard work, but the pay wasn’t bad and it was interesting to say the least.
