Paris Jazz Festival
Are you looking for something to do during the weekend while you’re visiting the City of Lights? If you love jazz like I do, then the Parc Floral is the place to be. What better way to spend the afternoon or early evening then to sit in the open air and listen to great jazz for the small price of 5 €. (2.50 € for those 7 to 25 years old, and free for those under 7.) Paris has always been known as a city that appreciates jazz; yes, even more so than New Orleans!
This year’s Paris Jazz Festival takes place every weekend which began June 9 and will continue until July 29th. For more about the schedules and performances, you can visit their website.

It’s taken me a while to discover jazz, but I am becoming a big fan and as Paris is on the list for next year, I’m going to tuck this little piece of info away so I don’t forget. I think that would be a wonderful way to spend an evening.

They get some really big names like Wynton Marsalis who will be there on Saturday July 28th, and for the price, you can’t beat it!
