The Paris Traveler

Spring Ahead

by Kim on March 7th, 2008

Daylight savings kicks in this weekend and I know many parts of the world aren’t screaming spring yet.  Paris is blooming already, being her show-offy self as always.  I came across this tiny, out of the way park in the 3rd and again was wowed by finding beauty in the most unexpected of places.  Think warm thoughts.  Spring is just around the corner!

And of course, no garden is complete without a piece of vintage middle age stonework!

Enjoy!

Y’know, it’s probably just the Canadian in me, but I’m going to miss winter when it’s gone. Still, those pictures are lovely =)

I do think it’s the Canadian in you! But, I am married to one so I kinda get it. ;-)

Thanks for sharing the beautiful Paris pictures. It’s nice to see spring is arriving somewhere as we brace for two feet of snow here in the Midwest.

Maybe it’s because I’ve pretty much been put on bed-rest that I take so much pleasure in reading and living vicariously through you. Well, think of us as we wait in anticipation for what is being called the storm of the winter. ( we’ve only gotten nearly 4 meters so far)

Ohio is knee deep in snow right now so these pictures are a happy reminder. I can’t wait. Paris in the spring is wonderful.

This winter has felt like a really long one for some reason. Paris anytime is wonderful, but Maya you are right. In the spring it is beautiful.
