Besides, any American who has spent time in Normandy knows just how much the French appreciate what a sacrifice (of lives) America gave for their freedom.</p> <p>This organization by the same name, <a target="_blank" href="http://www.thefrenchwillneverforget.com">The French Will Never Forget</a> also placed a red rose on each of the 60,511 graves and the 11 MIAs of American soldiers fallen in France during WWI and WWII.
