Three More ‘Travelers’ Join Our Ranks!
Our Travel & Culture Channel here at b5 media is rapidly growing as we add three more ‘Travelers’ to our ranks. Just a few weeks ago we welcomed The Atlanta Traveler and The Sydney Traveler and I’m pleased to announce that The Las Vegas Adventurer, The London Traveler, and The Switzerland Traveler are now a part of our group!
I, for one, am thrilled because I’ve been to all three places a number of times, so I’m really looking forward to catching up with everything that’s going on. If any of these destinations are on your list of places to see in the world, then be sure to check out their websites for the latest up to date happenings!

Heather at the Las Vegas Adventurer gives us a peek into M&M’s World! (I didn’t even know one existed!) I love the M&M’s movie posters! And how could I think that M&M’s only came in six colors,…. boy was I wrong! You can check it all out at Heather’s post.
Another thing Heather talks about is not only the Best of Las Vegas, but the Best of the Worst of Las Vegas and you’ll be surprised at what the locals consider to be the worst place to take visitors! I know I was!

Now Jed has me dreaming about a trip going from London to Australia. Nothing exceptional about that, right?! Well it is when the trip from London to Australia is on a bus!!! It’ll take three months going through 20 countries!!! Believe me, I want to go! Read all about this amazing trip!
I told Jed that whenever I’m in London on a shopping excursion I love to take a black cab; they’re so roomy! Just like the cab drivers in Paris, the London cabbies have to pass some difficult tests to get their permit to take you around the city. You can read more on his post about London Black Cabs.

You won’t believe what going on in Switzerland, but Geoff at the Switzerland Traveler will be keeping us posted! Did you know that there is a Swiss version to bullfighting? No? Well there is, and you won’t believe how these beasts arrive at a winner! You can read all about it at Fighting Cows!
As Geoff says, there is so much more to Switzerland than mountains and lakes, but hey, can they help it if they have some of the most beautiful mountains and lakes in the world?! One of my favorite things to do is zipping down on the TGV Paris - Genève and having dinner by the lake! You always feel revived when you get back to Paris. See more of what Switzerland has to offer such as the Zurich Film Festival.
So a warm welcome from the Paris Traveler to Heather, Jed, and Geoff!

Hi Lynn,
Thanks for the plug! I’ll certainly be trying to come up with some weird and wonderful stuff. Wish I’d known about TPT before our trip to Paris last Feb - what a great city, it’s so big and spacious after living in Zürich.
Thanks again,
Geoff

Thanks, Lynn!
You certainly hit the proverbial nail on the head regarding black cabs… I just had to take a couple of cabs on a recent trip to the States, and was simply amazed at how bad they are compared to London. (We had a cab start driving off with a passenger only half-way in the car!)
I look forward to reading about Paris for my next trip there!

Heather, in the meantime, you do have an Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas now,…. but you must come and see the real thing!
