Winter Pick-Me-Up
The weather has been abysmal–cold, damp, dreary! Way too early in the season to be bothered by it because it is going to be this way for awhile. I am in need of a little pick me up and thought I would share it with you.
These works of art are products of Christian Tortu whose floral arrangements have been in haute couture shows and society weddings on numerous continents. His work can be spare and contemporary or bursting with sensual shape and color. His tiny shop on the Carrefour de l’Odeon will take your breath away. The scent of fresh cut flowers will lure you inside and the creative beauty he displays will keep you there for a bit. Even his tiny arrangements sitting in earthy pots outside will beg you to take them home and bring sunshine to an otherwise grey day!
